Advantage of voice posts - tone & inflection. It allows you to make points that you can't in writing (people can get a better sense of whether you mean it or not). Knowing which words are the most important to you can matter a whole lot!

That is true. I remember reading once about some guy who got so p%$&ed off that he didn't talk to his friend for six months because of lack of inflection (http://www.pointlesswasteoftime.com/misery.html).

Plus, after about the first 45 seconds, I tend to stop paying attention. But I did catch something about salt near the end. Interesting experiment :) and it *was* fun to have a voice to match up with the pictures and the personality :)

Yeah, that's another problem - you can't skim/reskim a voice post, you have to essentially concentrate for the whole thing. (The salt thing was a metaphor for voice posts - as in, not good to have too much.)
