Well, the cliché of the fundamentalist-Christian insulate-the-children-from-modern-society homeschooling is inaccurate to my case, naturally. As for being a Republican: one-party systems just don't work, and if a two-party system is to work, it really needs to be two parties that are dedicated to serving the people rather than themselves. So I joined the party that has farther to go.
