Update: Weeding and Molding
Mom asked me to help her out with some gardening and house-cleaning before the inspection tomorrow, so I spent the morning cutting branches and pulling weeds to start clearing a path around the house. Then, lunch in the middle of the day, and cleaning off mold in the bathroom for the afternoon.
Funny story: one of the last parts I had to clean was the top of the bathroom door. I got out the Formula 409 and the "Rags" (some sort of sturdy paper towel things) and scrubbed. At first, the rags turned black as I scrubbed from the dirt and dust. Then, they turned brown. I kept wiping for a long time, they kept turning brown, and then I finally went downstairs at fetched up a stepladder to look at what I was wiping off.
The top wasn't painted. The brown was from the wood.
Anyway, after I finished, there was a bit of a power outage, during which I made a pot of noodles.
Also, I watched "The Tailor of Panama". Good movie – John le Carré was actually a writer for it. No IF, though – perhaps tomorrow.
