Anything other than atheism by that definition involves a belief in at least one deity d such that d ∈ P, where P (for pantheon) is the set of all existing deities. Atheism holds so long as P = ∅, which is true unless there exists one d ∈ P. If atheism is false for one deity, then atheism is false for 1+1=2 deities, 2+1=3 deities, so on, so forth, for any n deities where n ∈ ℕ*.
