If I ever hear a politician or pundit say "Main Street" again, it will be too soon. For cripe's sake, I don't even think my town *has* one.

Doesn't every town by definition have a main street?
Also, it also might have more than one major street.

I didn't say "a main street", I said, "
Main Street
". We've got "Colesville Road", "Wayne Avenue", "Fenton Street", but not a "Main"!
