A few months ago, I donated some blood to the Red Cross, and they called me back today. They said my blood type was "in high demand" (which is apparently just propaganda, since every blood type is in high demand), and would I be interested in donating again soon?
Being a sucker for advertising spiels, I agreed.
So, I'm going to the local blood drive on Monday (Memorial Day in the USA). Checking the maps and the bus schedules, I find that catching the local bus at about 11:00 AM will get me out there in plenty of time for my 12:00 appointment. (It's not actually that far, it's just that the bus runs very intermittently, and I'm paranoid about being late.)
...I have nothing else to say. To tell the truth, the subject line was the entire reason for the post. Now I have to get offline before the thunderstorms hit. G'bye!
