Gummi Wurms!

I'm headed over to a friend's house for an afternoon of fun today, so I got out all my Magic cards and re-tuned my main deck ("Gummi Wurms", and yes, the title is the entire point). It still needs a bit of work, but I think it's beginning to improve. I'll have to see how it fares this afternoon.

In the meantime, I've consumed a bowl of cereal and played Advance Wars a little. I plan to eat a sandwich and do a little Web browsing before I head out.

Back from their house...

It was terrific! It's too late at night to give full details, but we played several multi-way MtG free-for-alls (and I won the first!) as well as a couple one-on-one matches while the big tourneys were being completed. After that (and "that" occupied a good three or four hours), we played a bit of Super Smash Bros.: Melee until dinner. Then, after we spent a little time chatting (during which we discussed the puzzle of cutting a slit/hole in a 3-by-5 (inch) index card to leave a ring big enough to pass over the entire body), we played "Boggle" for six rounds.

That's when they gave me a ride home. After brushing my teeth and chatting with nankikun briefly, I wrote this entry. And now, good night.

P.S. Before Bed

I got my copy of "Digger" today. My signed copy of Digger, so feel free to envy me if you have any idea what I'm talking about.

Haven't finished reading it, though. I only got it out of the mailbox around lunchtime, not long before being picked up. It is nice, however. I'm tempted to visit ursulav's LJ and make off-topic comments about it.

But, je suis fatigué – I am tired. Time for bed; "Sleep well, no dream", as Ed would say. Good night.
