Not much – I talked to my will-be research advisor yesterday, and will again Thursday, and I'm going on a hiking trip this Fri/Sat.

In interesting news, I finished reading "Spin", which makes it the second Robert Charles Wilson novel I've finished (I read "Blind Lake" a few days ago). He's a good author, I believe; it's not hard SF, but the ideas feel new. And in "Spin" he pulled off one of the best plot twists I've seen in ages.

Unrelated to that, while I was out yesterday, I bought three used CDs: Phil Collins's "Face Value", Sheryl Crow's "Sheryl Crow", and Counting Crows' "Recovering the Satellites". I don't think any of them were big successes, but there are a few songs I like, and they were only $2.50 each.

Oh, and I watched "Koi... Mil Gaya", the predecessor to "Krrish" – it was good.

Anyway, 'tis late, night!
