  • 12:13 Y'know what I want? Super-long-term forecasts. Take those climate predictions (e.g. "Equal chance hot or cold") and give me a temp range! #
  • 19:29 @kirabug Good one! (On both points, actually - you know how 10.5's 802.11x support doesn't support 90% of WEP-encrypted networks?) #

Writer's Block: Entering the Game

Are you the kind of person who prefers to enter a game with strategies and codes, or do you like to go into it without any help?

Ooh, thanks for reminding me! I should put hints in my IF!

*cough*

Anyway, I skip 'em, myself. It feels like I'm cheating myself of doing it myself, to tell the truth. (In fact, even on racing games, if they're simulation-style, I'll switch off all the traction-control &c. and drive with the manual transmission, often enough.)

"Big Read"'s 100-Book List

From here, with minor edits:

If you choose, look through the following list of books and:
1) Bold those you have read.
2) Italicise those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) * Put a star next to the ones you've only partially read.
5) Strikethrough the ones you refuse to read.
6) Reprint this list in your own LJ.

Big whopping list... )

Statistics:
Read - 11
Planned - 10 (Edit: +1)
Loved - 6
* Begun - 10
Abhorred - 3

That was ... a surprisingly sloppily-executed list - I count at least two partial-duplicates. But I did score over the estimate [livejournal.com profile] joee_girl says "the Big Read" makes, which is six read!
