Something I haven't bothered to explain.

For cripes sake, coincidence, people! Weird stuff happens all the time! Grow up!

PROOF of a higher power!

I know someone who was convinced that it was a higher power, when he walked out of a film and a song that was in that film randomly came on his MP3 player.

TWICE IN ONE YEAR.

Why is it always *higher* powers, though?

ALL HAIL THE MP3 PLAYER OF POWER!

(I live in fear of the day that "Ride of the Valkyries" comes up on shuffle.)

The only thing you need fear is if "Ride of the Valkyries" comes up on shuffle without you ever having put it on your mp3 player... now that would be synchronicity!

If "Ride of the Valkyries" spontaneously appeared on my MP3 player, I'd ... probably not notice, actually. If I did, though, I'd go into full-on earthquake-safety procedure.
