I actually found out about Spin from Making Light in the first place. [ref (http://nielsenhayden.com/makinglight/archives/007262.html)] Very glad I did. My wife and I both read it and enjoyed it.

Actually, I missed that post. I'm kinda glad I did, though – I like coming into a novel with no (or minimal) foreknowledge of the contents.

Have you read any others of his books? I know "Chronoliths" is good.
