How many pair of shoes do you have? Out of those pairs, how many do you wear more than a few times a year? View other answers

Restricting to shoes I have worn in the last year or so, whose vague location I know, I estimate:

• 2 pairs of sneakers,
  
• 1 pair of hiking boots,
  
• 2 pairs of dress shoes.

Of which I wear the boots and the newer pair of sneakers regularly.

10-15 pairs as minimum.And wear just 2-3.Why i have got so many?
