My answer really doesn't fit - it is best if you do it all as one post (daily or weekly or however often you do it but digest style). The frequency of the posts (or infrequency) probably matters more then cutting or filtering.

A six(or eleven, or twenty) item list isn't particularly big, doesn't significantly inflate the size of the page, and doesn't break any but the worst-designed layouts, so there's really no need for a cut. (Plus, point of interest: every twitter post I've seen has been smaller than this poll about twitter posts.)
