Apology for ... err, sorry about that. I forgot that I was going to post more about day-before-yesterday.
After we got out of the multiplex, we continued down the sidewalk to Borders, next door, so Mom could look into buying the soundtrack. It was drizzling slightly, not enough to open one's umbrella, so we decided just to walk.
In Borders, we found the music section, and went to the soundtracks. They were overpriced. Also, they did not include "Stealth". We verified this after a little bit of work (the section was not perfectly organized), and then Mom went over to check something in the magazines. I was checking the display racks, just on the off-chance, when I found a copy of Joni Mitchell's "Court and Spark" on sale. We ended up purchasing nothing else there.
Before we visited Borders, I remembered that I had asked for a copy of a Brian Eno album to be sent from the CD/Game Exchange near school to the CD/Game Exchange near my house. Since it was quite near the theater, we decided to walk there, too. While it was still dropping rain, it was still dropping rain relatively lightly.
In the CD/Game Exchange, I asked if they had my hold. The man behind the counter moved oddly slowly – he was probably tired. That would also explain his brief confusion about my name, but that was settled pretty quickly. Once that was taken care of, he found the CD on the shelf, just as expected.
In the meantime, Mom examined the DVDs shelf, and requested it be opened so she could make a couple purchases. While the clerk took care of that, I noticed a rather nice Speed Racer poster hanging from the ceiling. Upon inquiry, I confirmed that it was for sale, and he discovered it was the last they had. This also meant I got a $1 discount – quite helpful, since I had barely enough to pay for it after the discount. Since it was still raining, he got me an empty trash bag to carry it in.
I've listened to both the Eno album and the Mitchell album now. Neither was what I expected, but both are good albums. The poster ... I have no place to hang. I'll put it in my dorm room in the fall.
