Apparently, a while back, someone made a bet. They bet that they could make a webpage receive One Billion Page Views. That's unique hits.

First thing I thought of when I read the link on greybeta: Man, how many of those hits are going to come from links that say, "He's totally going to fail"?

You mean, the "I believe that the internet is the greatest invention of the millennium" thing? Yeah, I'd probably capitalize "Internet" in that sentence. If he was talking about the generalized idea of an internet (after all, theoretically people could set up a second internet parallel to this one...), the lowercase would make sense, but he wasn't.

Yeah, I gave him one to his count too. He's still less than 0.5% there.
