Copy/pasted (and then edited) from [livejournal.com profile] happydog:

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now – even if we don't speak often – please post a comment with a completely made up, fictional, and imaginary memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - but it has to be fake.

When you're finished, feel free to post this request on your LJ and be surprised (or mortified) about what people don't remember about you.

Ooh! Ooh! Remember that afternoon in that little French café right off the Rue de Florentine in Paris? What was that waiter's name again?

Duruflé! I remember because I tried to point out the similarity to that guy who did that Requiem (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Requiem_%28Durufl%C3%A9%29) that was on the same CD as Fauré's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Requiem_%28Faur%C3%A9%29), but he just said something annoyed in French and I couldn't understand a word of it.

Great food, though. I really need to drop in there next time I'm in Paris.

Oh, man... I have some weird memories of you. It seemed like something happened every time you came over just to hang out before we could drive cars. Remember on the railroad tracks-- that flower you were allergic to-- I never could figure out what kind it was.

Yeah, that was a lunatic day. I'm really hoping it was a kiwi flower or something – I'm already allergic to the fruit, so it wouldn't be a big loss – but what with the sneezing and wheezing and the approaching freight train, I didn't even get a clear look at it.

Oh, speaking of which, I still owe you a box of acrylics to replace the one I dropped there, don't I? Darn.

Yeah, of course, all except for the periwinkle blue. I still maintain it was _instinct_ and I had no choice in grabbing that instead of you when the train came. I'm sorry. :( But, no harm done.

No harm, no foul!

Ah, come on! You know I can't talk about that until the statute of limitations is up!
Monday, July 3rd, 2006 12:40 pm (UTC)
What are you talking about? I don't remember anything like that. Of course, last time I visited, I got dru...

...oh, no.

Muahahaa...

Remember that time you were so sleepy, you missed breakfast?

I was sitting in the dining room, having just polished off the last bit of pizza, and you came downstairs all bleary-eyed and asked what we were going to have. :-D

See, I told you I needed that alarm clock! How do you expect me to awaken at 5 with you without one?

(Yeah, yeah, "go to bed before three" – I've got blogs to read important work to do.)
Wednesday, July 5th, 2006 10:45 am (UTC)
Alarm clock? There *IS* the alarm clock!? How can you believe that I woke up at 5 without one?

(Yeah, yeah; I know that you're the only thing standing between that crazy crazy world and the order in Century City, but you could leave off the superheroics for one night with out an awful lot of damage as the result, couldn't you?)

What? I can't imagine the ignorance that could prompt such a question! Why, just last night I stopped ... err, well, night before last I put a halt to ... um ... can I get back to you about that?
