Update: Compy Woes

Just a heads-up: I might not be around much online for a few days, because (1) I've work I need to finish, (2) the semester's starting really soon, and (3) my main computer, my iBook G4, needs to be backed up and sent off from the Apple Store to get its monitor fixed.

In the meantime, here's Wikipedia on the live webcam for watching the pitch drop experiment. You should be able to see another drop fall in ... oh, maybe five years – that'll hold you.

I suppose this post could also have been about being attacked by a "compy", along the lines of "I have a tiny dinosaur hanging tenaciously from my lip", but I figured out what you meant when you said you wouldn't be online for a few days. One tenacious dinosaur doesn't keep a person from lj, usually, at least when it's that small.

Yeah, I imagine tiny dinosaurs would be more likely to inspire more LJ posts.

(Although, ironically, I'm proving myself wrong about my being unable to LJ today, at least.)
