How do you choose which books to read? View other answers

I have three main methods.

1. Bored, bored, bored, bored ... hmm, is anyone guarding that book over there? *checks* Sweet! *borrows*

2. Hey, So-and-so said I should read that. I should read that.

3. The cover looks like the kind of cover that's on books I like.

(For the record: if you want to catch me with #3, go for the old-school. Something like this or, if you can't afford that good an artist, a single-color would be excellent. Also, have a good title.)
