I hope so too - now I'm left to borrowing school computers for my internets. I may just go ahead and buy a new laptop, anyway - it's three years old and out of warranty now, so there's not so much reason to hold onto it.
Although I really hope I can pull my hard disk files back - my last backup was a month ago, but I bookmark a lot of sites in a month. *wry*
