no i mean that you bothered, most people don't even when they're happy. I did notice that you missed out the closing slash of the image tag, but didn't want to say anything for fear or worsening your mood :(
Well-formed XML (in this case XHTML) needs all tags to have a closing tag, but instead of things like <br></br> you can shorten it to <br />. Or <img src="URIgoesHere" />.
(The joke was s'posed to be me pointing out your attention to detail while myself being a massive pedant, but then I decided not to include it, but then you replied and i did include it in my reply... sorry i am not good at jokes)
Some people need to find an answer to the question of life. For some, it's rooted in some early event in their environment; for others, possibly, it's nearly genetic, the result of a particular quirk in their brain chemistry.
Such people will tend to seek religion, or faith. Others, like yourself, philosophy, for its more logical foundations. Both ways seek the answer to the same question: Why?
Why am I here? Now that I am here, assuming I can accept that, what am I supposed to do? For some -- like me -- another question might be, "I'm an adult now. Why don't I feel like one?"
It's all the same. It all strives to find The Answer, the meaning not just to your own life but to everyone else's lives as well.
The answer is so simple that it's elusive. Someone might hear it and think, "Naaaah, that can't be it. It's not what I was expecting." But here it is anyway:
It's up to you.
Whether we are all the product of design or 4 billion years of chance, free will or fate, we do still all have the chance to decide for ourselves what we want to do with our lives. For some, it's to teach; for others, it's to experience this world as fully and completely as possible, to always see and explore new people and places; for others, it's to solve problems or find answers to questions; others, art and creative endeavors; still others, family and a modest life.
There is no one universal meaning. There's just your meaning.

And you get to choose what your meaning is.

(No, really, I've considered that answer, and though it works for many, it is insufficient for my purposes.)
