As you probably do not know, I have recently been trying out Google Reader as a way of tracking my weblogs. (My "Shared Items" page.) What I have discovered, in the experiment, is that Google Reader acts like the ever-multiplying tabs in the more-slowly-multiplying Firefox windows that keep haunting me, only on speed.

So, back to "Morning Coffee". At least that way, I can say "eh" and ignore the huge pileup of old posts.

Random question: do you use any extensions to help cope with the too-many-tabs problem?

(I currently use Tab Kit (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5447) but it's not ideal.)

...no, I don't! I'll have to check out Tab Kit and get back to you.

Edit: Ah, I see - actually, I don't usually acquire more than twenty-some tabs in a window, so I think I can manage without. The real problem is the weight of stuff-I-haven't-gotten-around-to-yet.

Someone recommended Taboo (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5756) to me, though since i don't use bookmarks it seemed less useful.

But yeah my most often clicked button in gReader is "Mark all as read"...

I read most of my blogs through LJ syndication, but then I'm not reading that many.

Yeah, that helps. My flist grow fast enough as it is, though.
